The Telluride is a popular car. It was designed in the
U. S. and is built in the U. S. for the U. S. market. Kia hit the
bullseye on this, mostly.
They
just announced a recall over about 460,000 of them. Apparently it is
possible for the power front seat adjuster switch to jam. This causes
the seat adjuster motor to run continuously. This causes the front seat
of the car to catch fire, which is a bad thing.
KIA is advising owners to park the cars outside away from structures or flammable material until they can be fixed.
