It simply amazes me how Trump can say some of the stupid things he comes up with. It appears that, like Biden, he is at times mentally unstable.
His latest saying is the crown jewel of absurdity. It concerns the January 6 insurrection.
During a Univision town hall on Wednesday, he was asked about the storming of the capitol by his supporters.
Trump responded by saying January 6 was a "day of love" when "nothing" was "done wrong."
A day of love where nothing was done wrong? A mob of hundreds assaulted numerous police officers and broke into the Capitol by breaking windows and doors. This was clearly an insurrection and by no means a day of love.
A magician couldn't make a day of love out of assaulting cops and breaking into the Capitol.
This is just one of many examples of the mouth that keeps giving to Kamala Harris.
As Michael Goodwin wrote in the New York Post: "Day after day, he calls opponents and critics dumb, stupid, lunatics, crazy and idiots." Goodwin says that Trump would be heading toward a landslide if he were not alienating large numbers of people by his use of nasty, childish insults.
All that aside, a half-baked Trump is still a far better choice than an uber-left Kamala.

Dude would be a shoe-in if he could focus and watch his mouth. I now think he will probably win, but then again I thought Hillary would probably win in 2016. A RealClearPolitics polling average report today showed Trump as UP (very slightly) in ALL seven battle-ground states. Considering that Trump bested his polls significantly in both 2016 and 2020 I am hopeful. Maybe even expectant.
Video evidence shows Capital Police Officers opening gates to allow protesters inside the Capital grounds. An unarmed US Air Force Officer was shot and killed by a Capitol Police Officer with little to no investigation. I'm not condoning the protest, but President Trump warned the protesters not to go before the protest. President Trump wasn't present during the event. President Trump called for the National Guard through Nancy Pelosi before the protest. If you blog about events, please present all the facts. Granted, President Trump isn't Politically Correct and he calls them like he sees them and that may be detrimental for him, but I find that refreshing.
Anon, you can't make chicken soup out of chickenshit. Any way you look at it, the storming of the Capitol was an insurrection. To call it a 'day of love' is truly the crown jewel of absurdity. You find Trump's big mouth refreshing, but it's costing him a lot of votes and may get Kamala elected.
President Trump has been blamed for everything by the left leaning media. He has been prosecuted by a weaponized DOJ and he has stood strong through it all. It wasn't President Trump's insurrection.
