Good Decisions Are Also Made By Those Who Don't Have Their Head Up Their Ass

In just about two months we are, IMHO, going to make a monumental decision.  Will our country continue as a market based economy with a government determined by a representative democracy with a very wide franchise, or will be become Venezuela?  This is a big deal.  November 3 will not be JFK vs Richard Nixon, or Bush 43 vs AlGore.  It will be what we have now (more or less) or a hard left turn, across six lanes of traffic without a turn signal.  Wreckage will be left in the wake.  Much of that wreckage will be our economy, our health care system and our way of life.

I don't know Donald Trump.  I have never met him.  I expect I would not find him likable.  That being said, we are not hiring him to run the Welcome Wagon.  We are hiring him to run the country.  I believe that he is essentially honest, essentially competent and essentially well-meaning.  Yes, I know the anti-Trump psychos are screaming still about the Emoluments Clause.  It's horseshit.  If it were applied the way they want it applied George Washington would have been impeached because he owned maybe the largest distillery in the country and every time he sold a bottle of whiskey to a diplomat he would have been committing a crime.  I grant you that our previous presidents have been mostly professional politicians, not businessmen.  It's still bullshit.  Trump has a record.  He has actually done things.  For the most part I like what he has done.  I truly believe, based on the things that he has done and said, that he is a patriot and wants what is best for the country.  He doesn't always say it well, and he doesn't always know how to get there, but he does try.

Joe Biden is (at least now) a sock puppet.  He is also IMHO a criminal, or at least is covering up for members of his family (i.e. his son) who are criminals.  His son rode his daddy's coat tails in a shameful and IMHO an illegal fashion, both in the Ukraine and with China.  Biden is sucking up to China as much as his limited brain power allows him to in order to keep his son in Chinese whores and money.  He wants to keep his kid rich and out of prison.  He changes direction as often as he changes his socks.  He truly believes that Black people OWE their vote to the Democrat party even though the Democrats were the ones who kept them in chains (literally) and then kept them out of schools and prohibited them from voting officially up until about the time Biden entered the political arena and for practical purposes beyond that.

Biden is so beholden to the radical left that he doesn't know which way to turn.  Defund the Police.  He won't say that he is for it, but he does say he wants to move their funding around to other areas.  Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.  He is for it.  He said so.  Fast Track Citizenship for illegal aliens.  Cool.  OPEN BORDERS.  Decriminalize border crossing.  Free health care for every warm body in the country.  If you can get here we will take care of you.  Cancel student debt.  Free college for everybody and their dog.  Take guns away.  (He has said very forcefully that he WILL make Robert Francis O'Rourke, the notorious fake Mexican and gun grabber extraordinare, his go-to guy on Second Amendment issues.)  So, he wants there to be no cops and he wants you to be unable to defend yourself when the cops don't show up.  Remember, Joe is the guy who said the right way to deal with home invaders is to step onto your back porch and fire your 12-gauge into the air to scare them away.  He sounded like he really meant it.)

Based on what he has said and done he does not seem to have trouble with rioting and burning down stores by "mostly peaceful" protesters (rioters) as long as those rioters hate Donald Trump.  Do you want to see your country turn into Portland where the cops are not permitted to respond to murders due to interference by "the mob" and weak-ass politicians who tell the cops to stand down?  Is looting OK if the people doing the looting "really, really want" the things they are taking and the people they are taking them from don't really need them?  

On top of that there is very real doubt about his mental fitness.  He has had strokes.  Anybody with a brain and who does not have their head shoved firmly up their ass will note his manner of speaking and presentation has slipped SUBSTANTIALLY in the last ten years or so.  I am still willing to make a modest wager that he will find some way to wiggle out of the debates because his handlers won't believe he has the capability to do the mental gymnastics in an uncontrolled setting.  We will find out about that in a few weeks.

Do some critical thinking.  Don't believe everything you see on Google News, or The View, or CNN, or Fox News for that matter.  If you are incapable of thinking for yourself, maybe you shouldn't vote.  Don't pee in the soup for everybody else.
