BOTH SIDES CAME LOOKING FOR A FIGHT BUT THE LEFT WANTS ONLY THE RIGHT HELD ACCOUNTABLE

President Trump is catching a lot of flack not only from the left, but from Republicans as well, for not calling out white supremacists, white nationalist, neo-Nazis and the KKK by name

Friday and Saturday there were some bloody riots in Charlottesville, Virginia between protesters on the far-right and protesters on the left over a proposal to remove the statue of Robert E. Lee from a public park.

A rabble of white supremacists, white nationalist, neo-Nazis and the KKK had received a permit to hold a demonstration on Saturday by the statue. But these deplorable racists held a torchlight march through the University of Virginia campus Friday night until a violent clash occurred by the statue of Thomas Jefferson.

On Saturday all bedlam broke loose when the police were unable to keep the two sides apart. Club wielding thugs on both the far-right and the left tried to bash each other’s brains out. The riot culminated with a 20-year-old white supremacist from Ohio deliberately plowing his car into a crowd of lefties, killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring several others.

President Trump responded to the riots by saying:

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides."

It did not take a New York minute for Trump to catch a shitstorm of flack from the left for not calling the far-right clowns out by name. And they were soon joined by some GOP lawmakers and other prominent Republicans.

So it seems that when both sides show up for a fight, the politically correct solution is to blame only the far-right.

If there’s any doubt about the lefties showing up for a fight, one only has to look at what happened on Sunday. Jason Kessler, organizer of the far-right rally, was speaking at a press conference when he was physically attacked by a leftie mob. Kessler was shoved, punched in the face, choked and tackled by a woman. Cops had to save Kessler’s ass from serious injury or even death by dragging him through the angry mob as it was trying to slug and kick him.

Now these white hate groups know very well that their Nazi uniforms, shields with white supremacist logos, KKK robes, and Confederate and swastika flags are sure to provoke counter demonstrations. And while the counter demonstrators have every right to protest peacefully, they have absolutely no right to physically attack the white supremacist scumbags.

The president was right in assigning blame to both sides, but then that’s not politically correct.

This is by far the best description of the event and the reaction to President Trump's statement that I have read. Spot on, BGB!

You can't be a Nazi and a good American. We had a World War about this. Literally, the whole world was at war. What part of that don't these folks understand?
