A DUBIOUS HONOR AT BEST

by Bob Walsh

The Thomas Fire in SoCal is now the largest wild fire in the formerly great state of California since they have been keeping track, about 85 years now. Fortunately there have only been two deaths connected directly with the massive fire, which is now over 275,000 acres. There have been over 1,000 structures lost, many of them homes, but that is not huge considering the acreage involved. They are hoping for full containment in about another two weeks. It is running about 65% right now..
