I
guess they are very serious about Bible study at the Grace Covenant
Church in Chantilly, VA. On Saturday afternoon about 3 p.m. one of the
congregation pulled out a toad sticker and shanked the church pastor,
who was leading the study session at the time. The Fairfax County
Police Chief, Ed Rosessier, was there at the time and he and one other
congregant wrestled the knife wielder to the floor. Multiple people
were injured in the attack. As of now there is no information about the
status of the casualties.
The attacker survived being arrested and is now in custody.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The pastor and one of the church members are being treated at Reston Hospital
for non life-threatening injuries. Another member involved sustained
injuries that did not require medical attention.
