Strange how one party rule tends to run towards public corruption, isn't it?
The
city-county government of the Peoples Paradise of San Francisco is
becoming even more deeply mired in a federal corruption investigation.
So far the City Administrators Office, Planning Department and
Department of Health are on the business end of federal subpoenas. They
are looking at corrupt process in city contracting.
Mohammed Nuru, the former Public Works Director, has already been arrested.
It
seems that city money was funneled to contractors who then funneled it
back to non-profits to throw lavish parties for high ranking city
employees.
Two
other department heads are already former department heads as a result
of the investigation, and several construction firms are being looked at
very closely by the Feebs for complicity in the scheme.
