JAYWALKING NOW LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA

By Bob Walsh

The legislature and the governor of the formerly great state of California determined that anti-jaywalking laws predominantly impacted non-white inner city dwellers and were therefore both racist and unfair.  It is therefore no longer illegal to jaywalk in California.  You are still not supposed to unreasonably interfere with vehicle traffic except while in a crosswalk or crossing at a corner, but those evil racist police officers can not longer harass poor inner-city nonwhite residents just because they are strolling across the street in the middle of the block.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

I think it's great. The cops barely have anything to do and are making record amounts of money and benefits.

Sounds like a good law. Never understood why it should be illegal to cross an empty street anywhere you wanted.
