SCOTUS Friday informed Special
Counsel Jack Smith that they will NOT take immediate jurisdiction of the
Trump matter. The issue is whether or not he can even be prosecuted
for actions he took in his official capacity while he was President. It
must now go thru the U. S. Court of Appeals for D. C. and then to
SCOTUS. This greatly lessens the likelihood that the matter will be
adjudicated by the election. In fact it may very well not even get to
trial by November.
By
then it's even possible that the courts will decide that the appointment
of Smith by the A. G. is not legal and throw his whole program into the
shitter. In fact that is a very real issue.
Sometimes a stall is a win. That appears to be the case here.
