This last Tuesday a 7-year old girl named Saida was
playing at Lloyd H. Ryan park in Detroit on a nice, sunny afternoon.
She was approached by Gary Lansky, 73. For no obvious reason he grabbed
her and cut her throat with a pocket knife. The young lady survived
and Lansky is under arrest.
According to his wife Lansky has mental health issues.
The
article I read says that he has a $2 million bond and is on house
arrest with a GPS tether. I confess to being surprised that anybody
would bond a dangerous nutter who tried to kill a seven-year old girl
for no apparent reason.
CAIR-Michigan
has gotten involved. They seem to think it is likely that the attack
was motivated by religious animus. Of course they think that EVERYTHING
is motivated by either racial or ethnic hatred, except attacks against
Whites, which just fall into the Shit Happens category.
