Regular readers will remember I wrote a while back about Mohammed Almaru, 44, of Tinley Park, Illinois. A tad over two years ago he beat his daughter, Mia Maro, 17, to death in their home. He was pissed that she wanted to go to the prom and he either denied her permission of withdrew his permission depending on which story you read.
The
asshole was just sentenced to 55 years as a guest of the state for
first degree murder. He will have to do the whole 55, with credit for
time already served. He could therefore theoretically be released when
he is about 97 years old.
