Several climate nutter groups are expressing
their unhappiness with Governor Newsom. They are angry that he is
backing away from his previously held rather strident position that
fossil fuel is bad and people who want to use fossil fuel are evil and
attempting to destroy the planet on purpose.
The
groups FOOD AND WATER WATCH, RECLAIM OUR POWER and SAN FRANCISCO BAY
PHYSICIANS FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY have all expressed outrage that he
is actually trying to keep at least one of the two oil refineries
scheduled to close next year from shutting down, thereby putting a stake
in the heart of his desire to be the next President and driving the
price of gasoline up in CA to unacceptable levels. Gavin is also
working diligently to allow MORE in state oil production. His former
hard-core liberal supporters really hate that.
