SF CHIEF OF POLICE HAPPY THAT CRIMINAL IS RELEASED FROM CUSTODY

Officers of the sanctuary city are under investigation for turning an illegal alien over to the feds

BY Bob Walsh

Yes, this is one of those “Only In San Francisco” stories. The cops showed up to
take a stolen vehicle report from Alfredo Pedro Figueroa Zarceno, 31. When they
did they found a warrant in the system for him. From ICE. So they turned his
happy ass over to the feds. He languished in their tender custody for about two
months.

Somehow the city officials managed to convince the feds to release Zarceno, a long
time illegal resident of the Peoples Republic of San Francisco. The Chief of Police
then said, “We are happy and relieved that Mr. Figueroa-Zarceno has been restored
to his family.”

The police have opened an internal affairs investigation on the officers who turned
this illegal alien over to the federal authorities who are supposed to deal with illegal aliens.

Zarceno is in fact the subject of a valid deportation order from Texas. He failed to
show up for his hearing in Texas. (Huge surprise there. Not really.) That was
from 2005. He also has a DUI conviction in 2012. Zarceno told ICE he intended
to file for asylum in the U.S.

I guess being a drunk is a valid asylum consideration if you are from El Salvador.

At least he was smart enough to leave Texas for the most celebrated sanctuary city in the country.
