Acting on Monday SCOTUS said that the Trump administration can enforce all aspects of it's travel and immigration ban from six mostly Muslim countries.
This is not a FINAL ruling as various actions are moving thru the lower courts. It does, however, tend to indicate that once the whole program gets to SCOTUS they will give it a thumbs up.
Two bleeding heart liberals on the court, Gingsburg and Sotomayor, made their objections known.
The so-called family exceptions are not noted in the courts statement, indicating that Trump is winning on his definition of family also.
Both the 9th Circuit and the 4th Circuit are suppose to hear appeals on matters related to the immigration and travel ban next week. It is possible that SCOTUS could issue a final ruling on the matter before the current term wraps up in June if the lower courts don't slow-drag their cases.
I guess American goats are safe, at least from Jihadi Johnny, for a while.
