The fire burning in SoCal, in large chunks of Ventura and LA county, has now consumed more than 250,000 acres and is well under 50% contained. It is I believe now the 4th largest such fire on record. National Guard troops have been activated to combat it. Fortunately it is MOSTLY burning undeveloped land but that is cold comfort if you are one of the unlucky ones.
Jerry Brown is blaming it on President Trump and Global Warming.
