Robert De Niro’s ‘Fuck Trump’ tirade at the Tony Awards was the most shameful performance ever given at any awards show
During Sunday night’s Tony Awards show, Robert De Niro went on stage to introduce Bruce Springsteen. His introduction turned into a tirade against President Trump during which he repeatedly shouted ‘Fuck Trump.’
De Niro said, “I’m just going to say one thing. Fuck Trump!” The audience erupted in cheers. Then De Niro quickly added, “It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump.’ It’s Fuck Trump!” At the end of his tirade, the audience arose to give De Niro a long and loud standing ovation.
Even though the actor’s fuck Trump tirade was the most shameful performance ever given at any awards show, his extremely offensive and uncalled for tirade received a standing ovation from the large audience. I suppose that could have been expected since the Hollywood celebrity types have been virulently anti-Trump ever since the President defeated their darling Hillary Clinton. I am sure De Niro was invited to introduce Springsteen because the producers of the Tony Awards show expected him to do exactly what he did.
CBS bleeped out much of what De Niro said because of the F-bombs, but not because of his vile attack on Trump.
Reacting to De Niro’s ‘Fuck Trump’ tirade, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pampeo said it best when he tweeted, “Robert De Niro is the worst kind of human this world has to offer.”

I have to second this one. Truly disgusting.
Welcome back Howie. You too Bob.
This ass-hat is an actor. So, I don't give a Hoot in Hell about his opinion!
