Trump says Ivanka created 15 million jobs as the nation braces for more unemployment claims

First Daughter Ivanka Trump joined her father at a White House event for small business Tuesday, where the president made the astonishing claim she had created 15 million jobs.
"My daughter Ivanka Trump who just wants to have people working," Trump said during a conference call with business leaders. "I gave her lots of options. What do you like? She created over 15 million jobs working with some of you, but working with the biggest companies in the world. They were training and training like nobody's ever seen. She started off with a goal of 500,000 jobs, and now she's up to over 15 million."
Ivanka Trump worked with business leaders to secure commitments for job training, but there is no evidence she created any number of jobs.
Unemployment claims since the coronavirus outbreak have surpassed 10 million.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Trump continuously complains about fake news. Well here, from his own mouth, is an example of real fake news.

I think President Trump was referring to the 3 years before the COVID-19 crises. Who knows even the British tabloid, The Daily Mail has run some far fetched stories.
Trying to think of a time when any other President has faced such hostility and so many blow out of proportion stories and outright fabrications from both the left or from the media. (But I repeat myself).
Trey, this is not the first time Trump has made such an outrageous claim. From the November 13, 2019 issue of Business Insider:
(Headline) Trump claims Ivanka has created 14 million jobs since he became president — more than double the 6 million added by the US economy in that time
(Report)President Donald Trump has credited his daughter Ivanka alone with creating 14 million jobs in the US during his presidency, even though official estimates indicate the country has gained only 6 million jobs in that time.
Trump made the claim in a speech at the Economic Club of New York on Tuesday in which he praised his eldest daughter for her advisory work at the White House.
He said his daughter had created 14 million jobs since he took office in January 2017, far exceeding her goal of 500,000.
US government estimates, however, put the total number of jobs added to the US economy during Trump's presidency at about 6 million.
"When she started this, 2 1/2 years ago, her goal was 500,000 jobs," Trump said, referring to her role as cochair of a White House workforce policy advisory board.
"She's now created 14 million jobs," he continued, adding: "Fourteen million from 500,000. Fourteen million and going up."
__________
Trump has just added another one million jobs since he gave that speech last November.
And Dave, you are exactly right about the hostility Trump has and is facing. But that doesn't negate the flat-out lies he's told and the statements he's made when he doesn't know what he is talking about, all caught on TV footage.
In this instance he must be illusionary. The only jobs Ivanka has created are the jobs of people working for her.
Our friend Bob Walsh keeps talking about how Joe the hairsniffer Biden is spiraling down. Well, some folks will say the same thing about Trump.
