Two
condemned prisoners at San Quentin have died recently from Covid 19,
bringing the total count of inmates that have died from (or maybe WITH
rather than from) the virus to 24.
The
two late and unlamented murderers are Scott Thomas Erskine, 57, and
Manuel Machado Alvarez, 59. They both assumed room temperature on July
3.
Erskine
was convicted of the rape-torture-murder of two boys age 9 and 13 in
1993 in San Diego County. When convicted of those charges he was
already doing 70 years for a long list of other crimes, including sex
charges.
Alvarez
has been a guest of the state for 30 years. He was convicted of raping
a 38-year old woman, stabbing a Sacramento P D tech to death during an
attempted robbery and beating up a 78-year old woman to steal her car.
In a sane society they would have gotten the rope years and years ago.

Hugh savings for taxpayers. They are the real winners here. Nobody, including the leftist news media, seems upset about the passing of these two scumbags.
Old Cop says, DRT? Yep. Dead Right There.
How much more social distancing could you do than be on death row?
Actually a lot of the row is double-celled now. Too damn many dead men walking.
