I once happened to be present in court when they arraigned a guy whose BAC was so high the EMT was surprised the guy wasn't dead from alcohol poisoning. It was something like 0.55. At the time of his arrest he could sort of talk and sort of walk. Couldn't drive that good.

Classic drunk. Now if their BAC is over a certain amount they send them to the ER.
