L.A. AMBULANCE DRIVERS TOLD TO LET PATIENTS DIE IN THE STREET

by Bob Walsh

No, this is NOT made up and is not an exaggeration.  The board that oversees emergency medical service in L A has instructed ambulance drivers to let patients die in the streets rather than transport them if their chances of survival are small.  They are also being told to go easy on use of medical oxygen due to a large spike in its use due to Covid patients.

I understand triage but that is truly harsh.  Other than in dealing with a huge explosion or earth quake or similar catastrophe I never thought I would hear that from a major metro area in the United States.
