Monday SCOTUS ruled that the cops entering and seizing firearms from a
Rhode Island home because the wife "thought her husband might hurt
himself" was unconstitutional. This was a 4th Amendment issue rather
than a 2nd Amendment issue, but the 9-0 vote might tend to indicate the
court may look askance at the current rash of Red Flag warrantless gun
seizure laws.
It should be noted after a medical exam the shrinks determined that the man was NOT a danger to himself or others.
