AS
usual of late this time of year there are several very large wild fires
burning in the formerly great state of California. Most of the MSM
will tell you that these fires at mostly caused by a combination of
Donald Trump being alive and global warming. In actuality many are
caused by lightning strikes. All of them are made worse by the state's
shitty forest management practices. In addition there are few fewer
inmate fire fighters available as compared to years gone by, due in
large part of Jerry Brown and "realignment" a process where many lower
custody prisoners are house in county facilities rather than state
facilities and are therefore unavailable for fire fighting duties.
The
largest of these fires right now is mostly in Plumas County. It is
right around 200,000 acres and is less than 25% contained.
