SF LOOKING AT $20,000 TRASH CANS

by Bob Walsh

The city government of the People's Republic of San Francisco is seriously looking at purchasing 15 new trash cans for public access areas in the city.  For $20,000 each.

The trash cans look REALLY cool and are supposed to be vandal resistant.  SF has about 3,000 city serviced trash receptacles in the city.  If they buy all 3,000 they will get a discount.  I think that's nice.  You can shit on the sidewalk in SF but they want to spend $20,000 each for trash cans.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I thought the Bay Area already has a trash can ... it's called San Francisco.

Another Great City circling the drain while buying over priced trash cans. I'm starting to believe the MIT Study from 1972. THE END IS NEAR.
