A
uniformed on-duty cop choking out another uniformed on-duty cop. It
happened in the teeming metropolis of Sunrise, Florida. It happened in
November when Sergeant responded to a call of a man attacking people
outside a stop-and-rob.
Sgt.
Christopher Pullease got there when the other officers had the bad guy
hooked up and were about to throw him into the back of a car for
transport. Pullease walked up, pepper spray in hand, and started going
off verbally on the bad guy. At some point it got physical. Another
officer an unnamed female, 28, grabbed the Sgt. by his duty belt and
pulled him back. The Sgt. then went off on the officer, grabbing her by
the throat and bouncing her off a patrol car. There is both audio and
video of the incident.
So
far the chief is backing the female cop. The Sgt. is driving a desk
right now pending further investigation. The asshole should have bought
her lunch. She may have saved his job ..... which he still might loose.

I remember something similar happening locally years ago. The Sgt was charged. The IA deputy who had been a prick to others for many years told deputies if they showed up for the trial, they would face disciplinary action. They did anyway. When it was all said and done the IA deputy was removed and placed in environmental crimes. (Dump Deputy). The Sgt was found not guilty and retired.
