Very sorry to report that one of my favorite actors,
Sidney Poitier is dead at 94. He was true Thespian in the classic sense
of the word. "Lillies of the Field" and "In the Heat of the Night '
showed his wide range of talent.

He has an impressive body of work to his credit. I think my favorite was BROTHER JOHN.
