The
S. F. School Board recall election was held Tuesday. All three of the
subjects, board President Gabriela Lopez and members Alison Collins and
Faauuga Moliga will be officially removed ten days after the election is
certified. Replacements will be appointed by the mayor, London Breed,
probably in md-March. The vote wasn't even close.
These
were the only three members that had been on the board long enough to
be subject to recall. The voters were pissed that the board spent a lot
more time, effort and money worrying about PC bullshit like which
schools needed to be renamed and damn little time, effort and money in
getting the damn schools reopened.
The
mayor is trying moderately hard to not appear to be a complete liberal
asswipe so she may actually appoint some people to the board who are
interested in getting the schools functioning properly. Maybe. If
nothing else throwing the dipshits out on occasion is good for the
system, even if you do only get different dipshits.
