YOU SHOULD PROBABLY NOT LEARN HOW TO DRIVE A MOTORCYCLE BY THE EDGE OF A CLIFF

by Bob Walsh

OK, it wasn't EXACTLY the edge of a cliff.  It was, however, the top floor of a three story parking garage.  The as-yet unnamed 25-year old woman was at the garage at the Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, CA at about 5 pm practicing her motorcycle driving with some friends.  She hit the low wall, was thrown over the handlebars and hit the ground.  Hard.  The people at Macy's were not amused.

The LASO in investigating.  They are not completely sure that what her friends SAY happened is what actually occurred and are checking security footage.

Reminds me of the time I had a ride along supervisor when I drove for UPS. The transfer station in San Francisco was a three story building with parking for trucks and trailers on top. It also had a low wall surrounding the parking area above the street. Anyway...I drove up to the top of the building pulling a set of doubles with my supervisor beside me. I was driving a cab over with no real front hood and drove right up to the retaining wall and stopped about a foot from the edge. Supervisor just about crapped his pants when he looked down three stories to the street below.

Good Times.
