One last photo on the deck of the Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Kaga the day before they attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941
It was 21 years ago on December 7, our
generations Pearl Harbor. It isn't necessarily good to dwell on it, but
it probably is good to think about it. Another civilization struck at
us just because we are here. They didn't / don't like our way of life,
it offends them, so they wanted to kill us. A fair chunk of "them"
still do.
The USS Shaw explodes during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941
You
don't have to obsess over it. You shouldn't. But pretending it didn't
happen will not make it go away. "They" still want to destroy us.
"They" still want to kill us. "They" are still out there, working
really hard to develop nuclear weapons in order to pressure us, scare
us, force us to knuckle under to "them."
Think about it. Have a nice day.

It's all true. I will be going to Oahu next month and while there will tour Pearl Harbor.
