A 10-year old boy was murdered on Sunday evening due to a dispute between families in rural Yuba County.
Deputies
responded to a shots fired call in Olivehurst and found the boy dead in
a home. They arrested Juan Martin Ortiz, 31, of Olivehurst on charges
of shooting into an inhabited dwelling and being a felon in possession
of a firearm and ammunition.
Ortiz is in custody pending $1 million bail.
