The last of the Cal Worthington car dealerships in California has changed hands. Cal (Calvin Coolidge Worthington) himself moved on to that big car lot in the sky 11 years ago. He was one of the most successful car dealers ever and his dealerships moved slightly over 1 million cars in roughly 30 years. His quirky commercials with his "dog" Spot, which was pretty much anything BUT a dog, were common on the tube for years and years.
