Deputy DA Shea Sanna
Hannah Tubbs, 27, is the current name of an allegedly
trans convicted child molester who is also a suspected murderer. S/he
has decided that s/he is in fact a woman after being identified by a
cold hit DNA search. S/he is believed to have beaten a man to death
with a rock in the boonies in Kern County. Shea Salana is a prosecutor
with the LA DA's office.
Tubbs
has a lengthy criminal history in both CA and ID as James Tubbs. He
began identifying as female after his arrest for attacking a 10-year old
girl in a bathroom at Denny's in 2014. He plead guilty to that one.
Gascon had Tubbs placed in a juvenile facility because his/her instant offense was committed before s/he was 18.
Salana
asserts that jail house phone calls make it plain that Tubbs is gaming
the system and laughing about it, literally, while doing so. He also
stated that he was very pleased at his light sentence and not having to
register as a sex offender. Salana pointed out that a 27-year old man
who was convicted of sexual assault of a ten year old girl being placed
in a juvenile female detention facility had some problems.
It is not clear how long Gascon has suspended Salana for for deadnaming Tubbs.
