LOS ANGLES, CALIFORNIA: Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a crash with a cyclist in West Los Angeles, according to reports. Sources familiar with the situation have reported to TMZ that the movie star was out on a drive when a woman riding a bike swerved into his lane and made contact with his vehicle. The accident was confirmed by three eyewitnesses. 

 

At the age of 75, the former governor is still in front of the camera, not as an action star but as a Kremlin critic and environmentalist. His legendary muscles may have softened, but his words remain impactful. He uses his fame to take a stand on global events via his social media channels.

What do we know about the accident so far?

TMZ reported that first responders had arrived on the scene, and the woman was being transported to a hospital. Schwarzenegger was also seen speaking with the police. It has been revealed that the woman suffered minor injuries and will be okay. The crash happened because the woman made a left turn in front of Schwarzenegger before he had a chance to hit his brakes.

It has also been reported that Schwarzenegger was not going very fast. There was no alcohol or drugs involved; it was a simple traffic accident. An investigation is ongoing, but law enforcement has determined that Schwarzenegger is not to blame because it was something he simply could not have avoided. Arnold is said to have taken the woman's bike, secured it to his vehicle, and taken it to a nearby bike shop for repairs.

The four-vehicle crash of last year

It seems Schwarzenegger has been facing bad luck since last year. Early in January 2022, the actor was involved in another car crash. The four-vehicle crash sent a woman to the hospital with minor injuries, Schwarzenegger's spokesperson had confirmed.

The former California governor was driving his car when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue, near the Riveria Country Club, according to the Los Angeles Times. As a result of this collision, two other cars in the intersection were also struck. Schwarzenegger's spokesperson had also revealed that the actor had escaped unhurt.
