VICIOUS DOG ATTACKS SEEM TO BE TAKING PLACE MORE FREQUENTLY

Houston man, 69, mauled to death by neighbor's three dogs as he protected his poodle from them

I really like dogs. Over the years I have shot two that were attempting to have me for lunch. It bothered me, but it would have bothered me a lot more to spend a day at the ER and have to get a buttload of rabies shots.

Sad story. RIP. We walk in the afternoon and always take precautions for possible dog attacks. Dogs are naturally territorial, and they will see nearby dogs as a threat. I check my fence daily.

Just another reason why I am armed at all times. Will I ever need to protect myself or another using deadly force? Probably not. But better to have it and not need it than.....
