REMARKABLY SUCCESSFUL PAROLE OR REMARKABLY UNSUCCESSFUL PAROLE?

by Bob Walsh

Nathan A,. Hofkamp was a criminal in Illinois. He was released on parole on Friday and like a good criminal went home to visit his mother in Monooka, where a welcome-home party was planned. At about 1130 pm a hoorah broke out in the home and James F. Hess, 65, Hofkamp's mothers boy-toy, shot Hofkampf to death. Hess is being held on a charge of "aggravated discharge of a firearm."

EDITOR'S NOTE: Aggravated discharge of a firearm? Because of all the shootings in Chicago, Illinois must have done away with murder.

This appears to be a reporting issue. No homicide here folks...

Could be a public service homicide. You never know.
