Mary
Kay Letourneau was at one time the most well-known rapist in the
country. She was prosecuted, convicted and did time for banging a
12-year old student in her elementary school class. She was 34 at the
time. She later went back into custody for violating a stay-away
order. When Vili Fualaau became 18 they married. They had two children together,
the first before the marriage. They wrote a book together.
She just died, of cancer, at age 58.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The first child was born in prison. Although they were divorced, Vili Fualaau took care of her after she was stricken with cancer.
