A
nine-year old girl in Mobile County, Alabama stand accused of beating
her four-year old brother to death with a broom stick five days ago.
The tyke's Aunt has been charged with aggravated child abuse.
Cops
were called to the house for a medical emergency and found the child
unresponsive. The child's body bore signs of repeated, long term
abuse. The Aunt is being held pending $150,000 bail. The article did
not say what is being done with the nine-year old girl. She is being
charged with assault. Those charges may be amended.
Allegedly the Aunt was awoken by the sounds of the youngster screaming and witnessed the girl beating him with the broom stick.
