Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he would be opening an Investigation against GoFundMe after it took down a page for Canadian truckdrivers protesting COVID mandates (bottom inset) who had raised $9 million.
GoFundMe had removed the fundraising page for the Freedom Convoy after it received reports from police that the peaceful demonstrations turned violent.
Following the severe backlash, GoFundMe said in a tweet that the company will be providing full refunds in the next two weeks to all those who donated to the Freedom Convoy's page (top inset).

I gave to Go Fund Me twice. The 1st time was to Darren Wilson, the officer that shot Michael Brown in Jefferson City, Mo. The 2nd time to a local Detective whose house burned down. I will not donate to Go Fund Me again.
