Stanley Hartt, 64, was walking down the street on
Wednesday of last week in Tucumcari, N.M., minding his own business when
he was set upon by a pack of five mixed-breed dogs. The dogs killed
him. Hartt had moved to the city of 5,000 in Quay County from
Albuquerque because he liked the quaint town.
Four of the dogs are in custody and one is dead. The state police are attempting to trace the owner of the animals.
Not all urban threats move on two legs.
