Groomsman Terry Lewis Taylor died on August 30 after being allegedly struck by the groom following an argument with the newlyweds
The groom, James Douglas Shirah, 22, stands accused of one count of murder in the second degree, according to Genesee County court records
The bride, Savanah Nicole Collier, 21, has been charged with one count of accessory to a felony
On August 30 James Douglas Shirah, 22, and Savanah Nicole Collier, 21, got married. They also (allegedly) murdered a groomsman.
At
about 8 p.m. in Flint, Michigan Mr. Sirah decided he was pissed off at
one of his groomsmen, Terry Lewis Taylor Jr., 29. They had had some
sort of beef that evening after the wedding. Sirah decided the
appropriate thing to do was to turn Taylor into a street pizza by
running him down with his car.
James
Sirah is currently being held without bail. Ms. Collier-Sirah has been
released after posting a $1,000 bond. She is accused of being an
accessory after the fact.
Taylor has three children and one on the way. His baby mama is running a GoFundMe page to try to cover funeral expenses.
