Gavin (God I Want To Be President) Newsom, the God-Emperor of the formerly great state of California, is too busy. He said so yesterday. He really, really HATES proposition 36. If passed into law it would bring a modest level of sanity back into the criminal justice arena. Gavin is an arrogant, elitist asswipe who doesn't believe the peasants have anything meaningful to say about how the state is run and should therefore shut the fuck up. Unfortunately for him the peasants sometimes rebel. Proposition 36 is now running at more than 70% approval. And Gavin is just too damn busy to go out and speak out against it. Damn, I almost feel sorry for him. (Not really.)
