A self-driving Uber in Tempe, Arizona, struck and killed a pedestrian yesterday. The car had a driver in the car but the car was on self-drive mode when the incident occurred. Uber and least one other self-driving car operator have suspended those operations pending a full investigation.
Uber apologized to the dead person's family. Isn't that sweet?
