Joseph McFadden had been the Warden at the Lieber Correctional Institution in S. C. for the last five years. He is now unemployed (retired) and there is a new warden in town, Joel Anderson.
Summer Sharpe, the mouthpiece for the DOC, declined to say whether McFadden's departure had anything to do with the escape of Jimmy Causey on July 4, who was gone for 18 hours before staff noticed he was missing.
