It
seems that, if Fox News is to be believed, the feds have arrested over
120 people for participation in various levels of nastiness in the riots
that have been taking place cross the country. I suspect most of these
are federal cases because the bad guys were using Molotov Cocktails,
which are destructive devices under federal law. A lot of these cases
involve firebomb attacks on police cars or police property, but some are
also attacks on businesses. Some are also attacks on federal property,
such as some of the statues. Also, it is specifically a violation of
federal law to deface a statue honoring a person who has served as a
member of the U S Military (which would include many Confederate
Officers).
If they try them in DC or NYC they might not get much justice. Maybe they should try them in Bozeman or Laramie.

I'll Wager that most of the warrants were obtained through cell phone location data provided by Google.
