President Donald Trump revived his attacks on Fox News after the network reported on public opinion shows showing him trailing rival Joe Biden and facing tough challenges in swing states.

The president once again accused the network of running 'suppression polls' – meant to drive down turnout – by publishing reports that showed him behind, without providing further evidence.

The network has reported on polls showing Trump trailing Democrat Joe Biden by 9 percentage points in a respected polling average.

Fox's nonpartisan polling unit also released a series of polls giving Biden the edge in critical swing states – including some that Trump carried in 2016.

The polls had Biden leading Trump in Texas, Georgia, and Florida – with Biden holding a whopping 8 point lead in the Sunshine state, with a 49-40.

Trump moved his legal residence from New York to Florida, and regularly visits his Mar-a-Lago club there.

Fox 'gladly puts up the phony suppression polls as soon as they come out,' Trump tweeted Sunday. 'We are leading in the REAL polls because people are sick & tired of watching the Democrat run cities, in all cases, falling apart. Also, now 96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Another 2016!'

Trump regularly touts his GOP approval rating without citing the source.

Trump fired off another tweet where he tagged Fox and wrote that its 'weekend afternoons is the worst! Getting into @CNN and MSDNC territory,' Trump said, insulting rival networks CNN and MSNBC. Then he put in a plug for One America News Network and the conservative Newsmax network, urging people to watch them 'instead.'

'Much better!' Trump wrote.

One recent Fox story that appeared online noted Trump's lead over Biden in public polls.

Karl Rove, a former top George W. Bush advisor and Fox contributor, said on the network's air: 'In some states, it is close and within the margin of error. But, let’s be honest about it, the president is behind today. All the national polls suggest he is behind.'

A June 26 story on Fox was headlined: 'Trump in Trouble?'
