BREXIT IS STILL BOUNCING AROUND

by Bob Walsh

A major hunk of the planet is still seriously concerned about this issue.  Both the UK and the EU have decided to further extend talks about how to disengage reasonably peacefully without dumping that whole part of the glove into a fairly serious clusterfuck.

Boris Johnson has said that he still fully expects that a "no-deal Brexit" is likely to be the final outcome.  Fishing rights are one of the main hangups.

It seems that the sides have not publicly acknowledged that they may have moved the date back a bit.  Officially December 31 is still the fish or cut bait date.

If there is no deal and no extension on January 1 the EU and the UK move back to WTO rules.  There is fear that this could lead to food shortages, shortages of some important items no longer made in the UK (like body bags) and massive truck traffic backups at ports of entry.

Breaking up is so very hard to do.  Can you keep the ring?  Who gets the dog?  It is really hard.

Give them the dog and the ring. England needs to leave. Their economy and quality of life has suffered since joining the EU.
