On
December 14 the Daytona Beach P D responded to the local Motel 6 when a
maid reported a dingaling woman threatening to jump off the second
floor walkway of the motel. I guess she wanted to break her ankle or
somelthing.
In any case the
cops showed up and the woman was locked down in her room. After
cajoling her for a while she exited the room with her leashed German
Shepherd. She then picked the dog up and threw him over the railing.
The
dog landed on his feet and bystanders kept him from leaving. The
dingaling, Allison Murphy, 35, was dogpiled by the cops and taken into
custody. Volusia County Animal Control determined the dog was fine, but
they did remove a sewing needle embedded in the dogs thigh.
Murphy is a guest of the county facing felony animal cruelty charges and resisting arrest with violence.
