By now, unless they are living under a rock, everybody knows that while millions of Texans were freezing their asses off, Senator Ted Cruz up and took his family off to Cancun.
Cruz has received a shitstorm of criticism for fleeing the freezing temperatures to warm and sunny Cancun while most of his constituents were suffering from the bitter cold.
His trip did not piss me off. That was just awfully stupid. What did piss me off was that he left his pet poodle Snowflake behind. That was awfully cruel.

Later news reports said the dog was not left behind UNATTENDED.
I never thought the dog was left behind unattended. It doesn't matter. It was still cruel to leave Snowflake behind under the bitter weather conditions.
Howie, People travel. Sometimes they can't take their pets with them. If Ted left the dog with a sitter then this isn't news. That makes it malicious gossip. It's not like he chained it to the porch and left. Come on, Howie! It does matter.
Left his dog behind with a live in house sitter and caretaker for his dog. And that is cruel.

I've been reading the majority of FB comments about Ted this morning. I especially liked this one.

I spent seven days in the hospital, including Christmas eve and day, with coronavirus. Fortunately I did not have a severe case.
I caught coronavirus at a place I was having lunch where dickheads like you were not wearing masks.

Trey, you know better than that. I've posted your criticisms of me, and there have been many, every time. The difference between you and Dave is that you never insulted me in your comments, while most of the comments Dave has made over the years contained personal insults. And whenever Bob disagrees with me, he does not insult me either.
I simply got tired of the personal insults and I do not think the 1st Amendment requires me to post that piece of shit's personal attacks on me.
Anyway, Dave hasn't been on in a while and I don't think anyone missed him. That being said, Your criticism of Ted Cruz was in most of the readers comments harsh.

IMHO, You reacted because of your affection for animals. Ted Cruz is a good US Senator and the dog is just fine.
