The
San Francisco Unified School District has decided to TEMPORARILY halt
the renaming process going on there, which would remove the names of
notable evil bastards like Abraham Lincoln from public schools, in order
to put their time and energy into figuring out how to open the fucking
schools back up.
They also
graciously acknowledged that the "facts" they were using to decide to
who cancel and who to not cancel may be just a tad biased and deserve to
be looked at by people who are not raving political partisans, assuming
they can find any such in the city and county of San Francisco.
It is a small win, and maybe a temporary one, but it is better than nothing.
