ONE MODEST ADVANTAGE OF LIVING IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY OF CALIFORNIA

There are many things to dislike about living hear, but there are a few modest advantages.  One is the weather.  It isn't nearly as nice as the climate in the bay area where I came from, but it isn't horrible, especially during the winter.  A hard freeze is very rare.  You could live here tolerably, if not comfortably, without any household heating at all.  Unlike some of the poor bastards in Texas right now who are freezing in the cold.  Hope you are OK Howie.

Fortunately I have a gas generator that automatically supplies me with power when the regular power goes out.
