Here
is a copy of the first image sent back to earth from the "Perseverance"
lander which touched down safely Thursday about 1300 hours Pacific Time.
It
is hard to imagine how much neat stuff we might be able to learn from
Mars. One of the things this lander is designed to do is test to see if
oxygen can be manufactured from the largely CO2 atmosphere there.
